In partnership with various organizations around ASU, I have had the chance to design and patent several medical devices, ranging from addiction treatment to urinalysis.
STORYBOARDING
During my time in Luminosity and CUBiC, there were several products proposed by tech-oriented fellows whos ideas were better described with a narrative instead of a render. Comics for science!
ERGONOMIC SKETCHES
Especially during research, there are several ergonomic factors that will dictate the direction of the design. Anthropometric tables often are good aids, though often I have to make new ones, unique to the problem being explored.
